Two different roles
On this website, Cuna decides what data is collected and why, which makes us the controller. Inside the platform it is the other way around: a business stores its own customers’ data in a workspace, its agency manages that workspace, and Cuna only processes the data on their instructions. There we are a processor, under a data processing agreement.
This website
The site sets no advertising or tracking cookies. It remembers, in your browser’s session storage, that you have already seen the loading animation. The demo form does not send anything to us: it opens your own mail app, and we receive only the email you choose to send. We use that email to arrange the demo and answer your questions.
The platform
- Customer data is stored in data centres in the European Union.
- Each client workspace is isolated from every other at the level of the database.
- Conversations handled by the AI receptionist are sent to an AI provider to produce a reply. They are not used to train models.
- Every automated message is labelled as automated and kept in an audit trail.
- A workspace can be exported in full at any time, and is deleted on request when a contract ends.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal data we hold about you. If your data sits in a workspace run by one of our customers, we pass your request on to them, since they decide what happens to it. You can also complain to the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
